Census Warning – Value / Quantity Ratio
A Census warning may be issued by Customs under the following condition:
For the reported tariff number, the value divided by Quantity 1 (value/Quantity 1) is below the Census acceptable range based on historical data.
When this type of warning is received, the message will appear as follows:

Condition code: {27D} Reason code: { } Text: CENSUS OR-HI VALQTY 1
1.Navigate to the Article and verify that the value and quantity entered are correct.
2.If the value and quantity are correct:
oSelect the appropriate Override Code from the list.
oSave the changes.
oQUE the Census Warning Override application.

3. If the value or quantity was transmitted incorrectly:
•Correct the data.
•Go to the Census Warning tab on the Article screen and delete the Census warning line.
•Save the entry.
•QUE Entry Summary Replace.

This Census warning is issued when charges match the goods value, which is not permitted.
When this type of warning is received, the message will appear as follows:

Condition code: {27J} Reason code: { } Text: CENSUS OR-AGR CHARGESVALUE
1.Navigate to the Articles and review the Charges amount entered.
2.Ensure that the Charges value does not match the goods value.
3.Update the Charges field as needed.
4.Delete Census warning line.
5.QUE Entry Summary Replace.
