Split Shipment Release Election
Use this indicator for air freight shipments that arrive in split consignments.
•Split Indicator 1 – Release After All Parts Arrive
oSelect this option if you want to release the freight only after all parts have arrived.
oFor the manifested quantity, use the total quantity.
oSubmit the entry when Part B arrives.
•Split Indicator 2 – Incremental Release
oSelect this option if you want to release the freight incrementally.
oUse the Part A quantity for the first transmission.
oWhen Part B arrives, update the quantity to the total quantity and send a Cargo Release update.
Arrival Date
The arrival date is critical and must match the ETA in AMS.
When sending a Cargo Release update for the second part of a split shipment, ensure that the arrival date and flight number correspond to the second part.
