Calculating Duty and Fees
Before submitting the entry to Customs, you must calculate the duty and fees.
1.Highlight your entry in the list.
2.Click the Duty and Fee button.
3.Click Check to validate the entry summary and cargo release.
Handling Validation Errors
If, after calculating duty or running the Check operation, you see a red crossed icon, this indicates that the system’s internal validation has identified an error in the entry. The error must be corrected before you can attempt to calculate duty again or recheck the entry.
To view the error details:
•Hold CTRL and click on the red crossed icon.
This will open a screen displaying the error descriptions.
To correct the error:
•Double-click on an error line.
The system will automatically navigate you to the field where information is missing or incorrect.
