Checking PGA Requirements
Before submitting an entry, you should verify whether Participating Government Agency (PGA) data is required for the item.
Method 1: From the Entry Screen
1.Highlight the tariff number.
2.Navigate to the Harmonized HTS field.
3.Click the search icon at the end of the field.
4. You will be directed to the HTS table.
5. Go to the Additional section and review the “Participating Government Agencies” field to see if any PGA flags apply.
Method 2: From File Maintenance
•Access the Harmonized Tariff Table under File Maintenance in the top menu.
Method 3: From the PGA Set
•When creating a PGA set, the applicable PGA agency flags will appear on the PGA template selection screen.
PGA Template Filtering
•The “Show all” radio button displays all existing templates.
•Selecting “Show by tariff” limits the display to only the agencies applicable to the current HTS used.
