Before creating Customer Invoice, please create Price level.
Go to File Maintenance -> Price Levels -> hit New.
On the Price level screen enter the fees you want to charge for the jobs you do for your customer.
Then assign the price level to the customer in the contact screen:
One of the price levels can be set as Default. he default price level will be used for the customers that have no Personal price level assigned.
